Employees at businesses across the U.S. have weighed in, and Best Buy is proud to have earned a spot for the first time on Indeed’s annual list of the 50 Top-Rated Workplaces.
We landed at No. 39 and are third among retail companies. Best Buy ranked ninth on Indeed’s retail-only list in 2018.
Indeed is the largest job site in the world, where millions of job seekers search for jobs, post resumes and research companies. The 50 Top-Rated Workplaces list evaluates the overall employee experience and is based on more than 150 million employee ratings and reviews between June 2017 and 2019.
“We’re honored to make Indeed’s list this year. At Best Buy, we value employee feedback and use it to continuously improve the experience for both our employees and customers,” said Kamy Scarlett, chief human resources officer and president of U.S. retail stores. “Fundamentally, when employees are happy at work, they’re better at serving our customers, which in turn drives company performance.”
Best Buy strives to create a diverse and inclusive environment for employees and customers. We have been recognized for our training and development program, as well as for our diversity and inclusion efforts. Recently, the company added several benefits based on employee feedback, including paid caregiver leave and adoption assistance.
