Heads up Philly, Oklahoma City, L.A. and more: Sony and Samsung’s Newest TV Tech is Now at Best Buy

Surely you have heard about the new home theater experiences coming to Best Buy this summer, but do you know just how important these renovations are when it comes to shopping for televisions?

The first roll out is complete and the second batch will renovate more than 180 stores across the nation and their locations are detailed below.

Here’s the deal: The Samsung and Sony experiences at Best Buy offer never-before-seen interactive demonstration displays that showcase the latest TV technology and help consumers research, test, try, see, and buy TVs.

With the introduction of Ultra HD, seeing is truly believing. These higher resolution TVs are literally life-like but customers today are often limited to shopping for size (large screen vs. small screen) and audio (TV displays with a sound bars). That all changes with the introduction of the Sony and Samsung experiences in two significant ways: resolution and content.

Resolution demonstration: If you can’t demo a TV’s resolution then you can’t really experience it. Why have someone tell you about it when you can see it in person?
With the new home theater spaces, there will be specific demonstrations showcasing the different resolution options. Customers will see the difference and therefore make a more educated TV purchase beyond just the size of the screen.

Content: Obviously, shopping for a TV is more complex than just checking out the size or listening to an audio extension. It is about connecting content to TVs. Best Buy can now show customers just how easy it is to display content over multiple screens in both the Sony and Samsung experience spaces.

For Samsung, the space features two tablets to share content. In the Sony space, customers interact with a touchscreen that shows different options for sharing content.
