Technology know-how is crucial for young people preparing to enter the job market for the first time. We open the door to opportunity with technology training and tools that transform underserved teens from consumers to creators – a new generation of engineers, entrepreneurs, teachers, designers and dreamers.
Best Buy has committed to helping prepare teens from underserved communities for the tech-reliant jobs of the future. We are proud of our social impact initiatives focus on this ambitious goal, but we know we cannot do it alone. Our work is only possible through a network of dedicated employees, community organizations, vendor partners, and philanthropic supporters. Together, we’re making sure that every young person has the technology, training, and mentorship they need to succeed.
During this difficult time of the COVID-19 pandemic and uprisings for racial and economic justice, the Best Buy Foundation will be supporting our current nonprofit partners with invite only grant opportunity and have any other grant funding opportunities on hold for the remainder of 2020.
Event Sponsorships – We are putting a hold on current funding and will not be supporting any sponsorship funding for events for the remainder of 2020. Any sponsorships we may support will be by invite only. Please check this website for future updates.
Best Buy Teen Tech Centers – These interactive learning spaces help teens explore technology to discover new interests, collaborate with one another and prepare for the future.
