Amazon debuted Fire TV, introducing a new choice to the hot market of streaming media players.

Not only will Best Buy sell it, but you can get your hands on all of the popular streaming devices at your local Best Buy or online at bestbuy.com.

And remember that connection speeds matter. You don’t want to get stuck in buffer land purgatory while catching up on “Game of Thrones,” do you? Click here for helpful tips on streaming success.

Amazon Fire TV

Looking to get the new Amazon Fire TV? Both the Amazon Fire TV and Amazon Fire Game Controller will be available at Best Buy for $99.99 and $39.99, respectively. Both products will be available online at BestBuy.com for pre-order starting April 3 and Fire TV will arrive in stores on April 5.

With voice search that really works, and tons of great content providers, it’s an easy way to discover and enjoy the best in movies, TV, music, photos, games, and more.

Apple TV

If you’re an Apple fan and prefer to have an Apple TV, Best Buy has you covered.

You can even push content from your iPad, iPhone, or iPod touch via AirPlay to your widescreen TV. The 3rd Generation Apple TV is on sale and available now for $92.99 at BestBuy.com.

Google Chromecast

Want something more affordable? Here you go. Google Chromecast, the HDMI Streaming Media Player, is only $35 and it’s another easy way to enjoy online video and music on your TV.

You just plug it into any HDTV and control it with your existing Android smartphone or tablet, iPhone, iPad or laptop – sans remote.

Roku

There’s Roku, too, and it works with virtually any TV, boasting one of the biggest and best selections of streaming entertainment around.

Starting at $49.99, Roku offers several different options, including the classic Roku Streaming Players (1, 2, and 3), LT Streaming Player, and the Roku Streaming Stick.

Slingbox

And if you’re looking for a less-traditional option, the Slingbox is compatible with many streaming players and allows you to take HD programming with you on the go.

Enjoy your favorite TV shows on a tablet, mobile phone and more with the Sling Media Slingbox 350 or the Sling Media Slingbox 500. (Tip: there’s a deal available now that gets you the Slingbox 500 and Roku 3 Streaming Player – originally $399.98 – for $329.98)

Xbox One and PlayStation 4

Don’t forget gaming consoles double as streaming players.

The Xbox One lets you play your favorite new games, and offers an impressive lineup of video streaming apps to bring you movies, TV shows, sports and more in HD. The PlayStation 4 also doubles as a streaming hub with Netflix, Hulu Plus, Crackle, Crunchyroll and more.
